The streets of downtown Chicago were overcast and cold today. It wasn’t the greatest mood raiser to be had, nevertheless, I always feel better after my lunchtime walk, so I went out anyway. I grabbed a bench in Millenium Park and finally had a chance to dive into The Day Of Revolution
which I bought last week. So far I’m really enjoying it, well worth the extra week or so I had to wait for it. And on the way back to my office, like a ray of sunshine on a cloudy day, I had the great pleasure of seeing a pair of cute Japanese girls in short skirts, one of whom was wearing a lovely pair of loose socks. I’ve never seen that in person outside of an anime convention and certainly not on North Michigan. I think it made my day.
